Tor I. Skaar

Tor I. Skaar is a cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of experience protecting digital infrastructure. He has a proven record of leading R&D teams, threat intelligence operations, and advancing security technologies. Before joining RSAC, he served as Director at Crosspoint Labs, supporting portfolio companies. At NortonLifeLock, Tor pioneered the shift to serverless architectures and led the development of their security telemetry systems. He also used his threat intelligence expertise at Symantec and Blue Coat. Earlier, at Norway’s National Security Authority, he developed their sensor network for critical infrastructure and built a state-of-the-art operations center. He holds an MSc in Telematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
